Of course! We will provide you with specific, easy-to-follow instructions to customize your chosen layout. You'll follow along as we walk you through how to change out your text, images, and colors.

You'll also have access to us for 3 weeks via email if you have questions as well as continued access to our private, Clients Only website which is full of tutorials and other helpful information that will help you before, during, and after you finish your website edits. 

No, not unless you opt for additional assistance. You will set up your account, template(s), auto-responders, etc.  We simply connect your opt-in form(s) to your service.

Once you've chosen your layout, we'll provide you with an outline to make the process of putting your content together as non-stressful and easy as possible. 

We'll give you a list of images to gather and the sizes they should be along with suggested text for different spots and pages.  You'll also be able to refer to the online demo site and tutorials at any time to help you as you put it all together.

Once we get the ball rolling, you'll be responsible for providing us with your account login information, etc. and DIY Website preferences within 1 week of purchase. This is crucial - without this, nothing can happen. Upon purchase, we'll provide you with your Welcome/Getting Started information and guide.

After you've delivered this information, we should (in most cases) be able to complete our portion of your project and hand it back to you within 7 working days.

The next step in your website's creation is where you will swap out the placeholder copy and images with your own. We'll walk you through how to do it all (through video and written tutorials) - it'll be easy peasy!

You are responsible for your own:

• Website hosting
• Domain (your URL)
• Email marketing (if applicable)
  
• Email hosting
• Annual premium plugin and theme renewal fees - We charge minimal annual fees (much less than if you purchased and had to renew annually yourself - which you certainly can if you like) for use of our product licenses like Beaver Builder and Gravity Forms (monthly maintenance clients have even more discounts)
• Possible SSL Certificate fees: Your web host may charge extra for a certificate. If installation and configuration of your SSL requires additional time and other complicated processes, we will charge an additional fee.
• Other outside services/needs if applicable (special services to provide the functionality you need, such as project management services, e-commerce services, special plugins, etc.)
• Monthly maintenance (if you choose to have us help you)
• Any services you need to assist you with GDPR compliance (we can help with basic set up)
• If you need us to install your layout on a different domain while your current site stays up and running, we can certainly do that.  There is a $250 additional fee to migrate your new website to your main domain (URL) once it’s complete. If you have a current/live site and don’t want to incur the extra fee, we can put up an “under construction" or "coming soon” page and show you how to remove that option when you're ready.

• Advanced/ongoing SEO. Your website will be optimizes using search engine friendly standards and by installing and configuring the best SEO plugin on the market, Yoast. You’ll learn how to update and edit your SEO descriptions yourself with our easy-to-follow tutorials located in our Clients Only website.
• An open-ended project timeline. We’ll need your full commitment and participation in order to meet deadlines and avoid having to charge extra fees (that wouldn't be fun for either of us). In other words, we’ll set a timeline and request that all parties stick to that timeline.
• Content (text, image, video) insertion. You are responsible for inserting and uploading your own content by following our tutorials. If you would like us to handle this for you, a custom website might be a better fit for your needs.
• Anything else listed in the question “Are there any extra fees?” shown above.

Your website layout is built so that you can easily add to your website when you’re ready. If you need assistance, we provide 3 weeks of email support after we've set it up for you, and you'll have the option to continue to have us secure, backup and maintain your site (find our about our Golden Maintenance Package here). We’re also available for Tweak Requests at any time.

While several of our clients have benefitted from increased sales or donations, there are no guarantees in life. Just like giving a person a plant, they have the choice to care for it and watch it grow or let it wither and die.

What we can guarantee is that we will set you up for success following all the best practices of design, Google’s rules and regulations, plus a few hundred other important rules and processes using our years of design and marketing experience and expertise.

We provide you with the tools. It’s up to you as to how (and how often) you use them.

The basic differences between a DIY and one of our custom designed websites are:

• with a DIY Website, the design, structure, and development are already done for you
• after we do the setup of your DIY site (install WordPress, Beaver Builder, plugins, your chosen layout, etc.), you do the rest of the work to customize your website for your needs by switching out and adding your content, colors, image, etc.

These differences create a quicker turnaround at a much lower cost to you. Bonus: You learn from the get-go how to edit your site as needed!
